Information Security Officer

Job Description and Qualifications

  • Conduct gap analysis of identified environments against documented policies, standards, guidelines.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on issues/deficiencies identified 
  • Document current state processes where applicable, document approved updated processes 
  • Execute approved action plans to close gaps identified and/or monitor, follow-up and report on the execution of the approved action plans by identified resources to closure 
  • The follow up with IT specialists and consultants on progress on deliverables 
  • The follow up with vendors on troubleshooting of issues related to Information Security 
  • The analysis of IT controls-related documentation 
  • Matching between documentation and policies/regulation 
  • The use of best practice standards
  • The provision of technical expertise on risks and the required controls associated with information security systems, where applicable 
  • Process reengineering and documentation 
  • The use of Microsoft Office, to support the required documentation
