Planning

  • Create an integrated project plan and change management roadmap, to include resourcing and budgetary requirements. 
  • Deliver projects and change plans to meet changing needs and requirements. 
  • In conjunction with key stakeholders, create and run a project governance structure.  
  • Partner with the Organisational Change Lead and the respective Subject Matter Experts (SME) to develop a communication plan and stakeholder journey map. 

Implementation

  • Manage the day-to-day project execution against time, budget and delivery targets 
  • Partner with the Organisational Change Lead to effectively deliver key change management activities.
  • Prepare, review and oversee project documentation:  backlogs/plans, status reports, risk assessment and action plans, issue management, change requests and resource requests.  
  • Coordinate with resources in the organisation to build a structured approach to product development which feeds the integrated sprint activities.  
  • Ensure that the ways of working of the project (which is likely to include agile-sprint methodology) is understood and embedded. 
  • Ensure risks are understood, documented, communicated and have effective risk mitigation activities with clear ownership. 
  • Organize the project team build a strong co-supporting ethos resulting in effective and efficient implementation. 
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards. 

Monitor and Tracking

  • Ensure that expected benefits are owned, tracked and achieved. 
  • Identify and implement tactics that remove barriers and risk.  
  • Support the project sponsor, representing the project within the program steerco to ensure that activities are coordinated with other work within the programme and dependencies or blockers for the project are managed/resolved. 
  • Monitor and report project progress and present the status of project deliverables to key stakeholders, holding colleagues accountable to decisions or actions required in support of the project.  
  • Lead regular project meetings (e.g. weekly), ensure documents and dashboards are updated and circulated 
  • Ensure that the solutions meet quality, regulatory, data and security standards  
     

Academic Requirements

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
