Project Manager (Remote)

A prominent, local financial institution is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the role of a Project Manager (Remote).

Core Functions

The incumbent is responsible for the management of assigned multi-functional and technical projects undertaken based on the company’s strategic objectives. The incumbent must put plans in place to manage and ensure that projects are completed successfully within time, quality, cost and scope. This involves the use of leading project management principles to manage the project team.

Education and Experience

  • Project Management Professional Certification or at least a Degree in Management or Computer Sciences
  • Minimum of three (3) years Management experience
  • Minimum of 32 hours of formal training in the field of Project Management

Specialized Skills, Techniques/Learned Disciplines

  • Knowledge of Banking and Financial products and business environment
  • Abreast of emerging market technologies
  • Experience with the use of Project Management tools and illustrative software
  • Results oriented, quality-focused, sound time management and organizational skills
  • Good leadership skills
  • Good presentation, communication and advisory skills
  • Effective team player

Special Conditions Associated with the Job

  • Remote/Virtual Office environment
  • Working outside of normal business hours and on weekends, occasionally, or as required per project milestone/deliverable (e.g., project implementation)
