Job Description and Qualifications

  • Technician – Level 1
  • Provide support, monitor and maintain production systems, products and applications. For greater certainty Resource will provide Services for all aspects of technology including communications infrastructure. Resource shall:
  • Provide 24/7 support of the unit’s specialty to ensure continuous availability of services to internal and external clients.
  • Provide support for ABMs, communications equipment, servers, desktops, laptops and all other Technology equipment.
  • Allow viewing of video camera footage.
  • Support the production platforms by timely resolution of normal application/system problems including conducting problem determination, ownership, root cause, research and selection of solutions (seeking support from other staff and/or the vendor as appropriate).
  • Implement changes based on client and customer readiness as well as systems readiness in accordance with established change management processes.
  • Adhere to ITIL standards, practices, processes and procedures.
  • Despite change, maintain confidentiality, availability and integrity of all systems and data as per best practice.
  • Meet deadlines and provide acceptable service levels in conjunction with changing priorities.
  • Anticipate the potential short and long term implications of decisions.
  • Operate in a rapidly changing environment as to needs, technology and methods employed.
