I was responsible for the user experience design. I distilled data related to the user behavior on the app and conducted user interviews to get some insight into pain points and areas of friction in the loan request process. Although I was the sole designer on the project, I collaborated closely with a product manager and two engineers.
The primary goals were simple, expose areas of friction in the loan request process and explore feasible ideas aimed at increasing the loan request rate. We also wanted to give the app a more modern look and feel so that we could attract and retain users in the millennial generation.
